A new chapter

So much has NOT happened since last time we wrote, don't know where to start.

The chapters in our little saga so far:
Chapter 1 - Saying goodbye to home and hello to MTC awesomeness
Chapter 2 - Waiting, waiting, waiting to enter Finland
Chapter 3 - Letting go of a Finnish dream
Chapter 4 - Glimpsing our future

We're in Chapter 4 now. After a roller coaster ride with starts and stops and spending the holidays 1000's of miles from where we expected (at home), and the oft asked "Are you still here??" we just today, Feb 12, got word of our new mission assignment. We'll be going to Warsaw, Poland. We believe, but aren't certain, we'll be assigned to work with the YSA (Young Single Adults) as was our original call. We also believe that we'll travel there on March 5.

It's hard to describe the relief. We've felt like we've been in the doldrums with no wind and no chart, just trying to stay afloat. The experiences we've had at the Distribution Center and Welfare Square have been wonderful and we really enjoy what we're doing there, but it just doesn't feel like we've really started our mission. Now that we have a destination and a time frame, somehow we've got the missionary excitement again.

We don't know what exactly to expect, but we'll face it together with the Lord and it will be awesome.

Thanks for hanging in there with us and hopefully, in a few weeks, we'll have something interesting to share and maybe a picture or two.

Happily,
Starszy and Siostra Bridge
