It was Fathers' Day

It was Fathers' Day and it was remembered. For this I'm so happy and I feel blessed!

I've noticed that when I look at photos of groups of people, especially old photos, I might find something interesting in there, like the hairstyles, the clothes styles, the lighting or setup or location, the awkward poses, but I'm really just thinking "Huh, another old family photo." When you look at your family photos you don't look at the things, you look at the faces. You can't stop the image of their face from bringing memories and emotions. I hope you'll look at some old family photos and feel the good in them.

Good insights Stui. My Dad turned 89 this month so he's nearing the way side inn as Longfellow put it. Mom is 88 and in a carecenter, even closer to the inn. Feel very blessed to have had good, kind and righteous parents while on earth. It can make all the difference in the quality of our experience and the building of our faith and testimony. And with friends like you and Eva Jean, I feel doublly blessed.
